Queer Prom with Queer as Funk
RECLAIM YOUR PROM! Was your prom experience not personally validating? Maybe you couldnt dress in a way that felt like you, maybe you didnt get to go with the person you wanted, or maybe you didnt feel seen and celebrated for who you are?
QUEER PROM WITH QUEER AS FUNK at THE WISE HALL is your chance to do prom your way. Let's have the prom experience we deserved! Lets celebrate ourselves, our community, and the joy of being unapologetically us. Whether its your first prom or a redo, this is your moment to feel validated and seen.
Were bringing you all the prom magic:
A gender-neutral PHOTO BOOTH, hang a new photo on the wall
Strut your stuff on the catwalk and compete in our BEST DRESSED CONTEST
Dance and sing along to Queer as Funk: we're ready to bring the soundtrack to our celebration of queer joy!
This event takes place on the unceded Indigenous land of the Coast Salish peoples, including the territories of the Musqueam, Skxwú7mesh, and Tsleil-Waututh nations.
